🧭 HRIS: smarter onboarding, payroll & absence clarity

Pre-boarding portal

New hires can now access a personalized pre-boarding experience that sets them up for success from day one. The new portal enables them to complete essential onboarding tasks, upload documents, and get familiar with the company — all before their official start. This creates a smoother transition, reduces first-day overwhelm, and builds early confidence in their new role.

Pre-filtered salary metrics

It’s now easier to explore compensation insights using new filters that let you break down salary data by type, time period, frequency, and currency. This level of granularity supports more informed and accurate decision-making when it comes to pay equity and budgeting.

Payroll – Combined payroll cycle filter

You can now review employee payroll groups — such as new joiners and leavers — within a single unified view. This update simplifies navigation and ensures no details are missed, helping you stay organized and reduce manual switching between filters.

Absence management – Add description field for absence policies

You can now add clear, contextual descriptions to your absence policies. This helps employees understand the nuances of time-off rules without needing to consult HR — saving time for your team and increasing clarity for everyone.

Workflows – New fixed date trigger

In addition to lifecycle-based triggers, workflows can now be set to activate on a specific fixed date. This enhancement is ideal for coordinating reminders or tasks tied to hard deadlines, such as compliance check-ins or anniversary-based evaluations.

Workflows – New step type: Enroll in survey

We’ve introduced a new workflow step that allows you to automatically enroll employees in surveys at critical moments — like returning from leave, changing roles, or offboarding. By connecting Leapsome’s HRIS and Surveys modules, this feature ensures feedback is timely and continuous, without adding to your manual workload.

🧾 Reviews: more visibility, accuracy & control

Export ‘All reviews’ page

You can now export review data, including weighted scores, directly from the “All reviews” page. This allows you to analyze aggregated performance data quickly and easily, with fewer steps.

Add approval-related status to ‘predefined filters’ in review cycle dashboard

We’ve added a new predefined filter to track manager approvals in the review cycle dashboard. This gives you a clear view of what’s completed and what’s still pending — particularly helpful when overseeing large or complex cycles.

Notify reviewee when assessment is shared by admins

Employees will now receive a notification when admins share their assessments. This ensures transparency, improves communication, and keeps feedback conversations moving forward.

Limit manager reviews approval flows to specific template

You can now configure manager approval flows to apply only to selected templates. This targeted control helps streamline your review processes by triggering approvals only when needed — keeping your workflows lean and focused.

Precise box calibration with actual question scales

Review analytics now support custom box scales such as 2x3, 3x5, or 5x10  rather than a default 9-box view. This ensures a more accurate visual representation that reflects your chosen question scales and simplifies calibration for better decision-making.

Key result and initiative updates via the public API

You can now use our public API to automatically update key results and initiatives. Whether through custom connectors, Zapier, or webhook-enabled middleware, this update helps you sync goal progress from external tools like Salesforce or Jira, ensuring alignment across your stack and reducing manual upkeep.

Real-time content updates

Admins can now update the content within learning paths in real time without requiring participants to unenroll and re-enroll. This means your learning programs stay fresh and relevant while avoiding disruptions to employee progress.

⚙️ Platform

Flexible impersonation

Super admins can now impersonate any user in a secure, read-only mode that hides sensitive data. This feature is ideal for providing support, troubleshooting setup issues, or previewing platform changes from the user’s perspective — all while keeping privacy intact.

HRBP access per module / Combined HRBP-like roles

We’ve introduced more granular permission settings for HRBPs and role-based access. You can now assign access rights per module for example, allowing visibility into Reviews or Learning for a specific employee group, supporting data privacy while scaling with organizational complexity.

Improve the UI/UX of reports and dashboard visibility

We’ve made it easier to understand who has access to each report or dashboard. Clearer labels and default visibility groups reduce confusion and simplify report-sharing decisions.

Dynamic filters on dashboards and reports

You can now use dynamic filters to build visibility groups for reports and dashboards. For example, you might allow a manager to view data for their direct reports, while a department head sees data for all teams under their oversight. This flexible approach enhances data access while maintaining control.
